Georgio's Fine Food & Spirits is an upscale family owned establishment specializing in fresh local seafood and hand cut USDA prime beef steaks. Our eclectic menu highlights proprietor George Koikos's Greek roots with our large section of Mediterranean dishes, international wines, craft brews and top notch spirits. Mr Koikos has owned restaurants in Tallahassee Florida for over 50 years and believes in doing things the old fashioned way without shortcuts. Everything on our menu is made in house from scratch using the finest ingredients available. We have several private banquet spaces that can seat from 6-76 guests and are perfect for hosting any special occasion or business meeting. Our warm and knowledgeable staff will make you feel at home and you can expect to be greeted by a family member while dining with us...most likely George himself or his daughter Eleni. Not what expected but very excellent if this is what youâ€™re looking for. Was traveling through Tallahassee and wanted to stop for a quick bite on our 5 hr drive. Search some local places and Georgioâ€™s came up. Used the previous reviews to decide that weâ€™d like to try it out. One review stated that you should plan to spend about $20 a person but this wasnâ€™t the case. This is an extremely nice restaurant but youâ€™re going to pay for the ambiance and social style. The average entree was between $26-$35 so for just two people looking for a full experience please plan to pay for it. Nevertheless, the food was amazing . Our server was phenomenal. Beautiful place for a date or celebratory dinner. Would definitely recommend under the right circumstances.

My husband took me to Georgio's tonight for a quiet celebration of my birthday. It was just our second time there, the first being his job's Christmas party. Like the first time, the food and service were absolutely amazing!! He had the Delmonico steak and I had the Shrimp Scampi, and both were superb! I had a piece of Chocolate Mousse cake for my birthday cake and it was was heavenly. Nicole was a friendly & attentive server, and, of course, we were greeted by the owner when we came in. I'm already looking forward to the next time we done there!

Traveling thru Tallahassee this week and stayed in a hotel near this restaurant. We looked up the reviews and decided to try it. We are so happy we did. Our meal was amazing. The Bisque was more than worth a little extra money. It was the best I ever had! I had the grouper and my husband had the grilled shrimp. He loved it. Leeda was our waitress and was excellent. Top Notch! The owner came over and asked how we enjoyed the meal. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and would highly recommend you eat at this restaurant. We hope to stop on our way home.

No, we are not open on Christmas Day. However, we are open on Christmas Eve from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Rita, We are not open for lunch. However, we will make special accomodations for any group over 35. We open at 4. As for pricing, it is our regular menu price, as we only serve a dinner menu.

All their desserts are artisanal. I've personally had the creme brulee and the key lime pie and can highly recommend both, and I'm sure all the other options are just as delicious.
